Nashville East Coast Film Partnerships began with one ghostwriter’s story. Susan Alvis started her career as a freelance ghostwriter and quickly became an international bestselling author. Her work has long focused on writing for celebrity clients, athletes, musicians, and self-help entrepreneurs. 

In the early 2000s, she didn’t wait for clients to find her—if she recognized a compelling story, she wasn’t afraid to reach out and share her ideas. Although bound by NDAs, both writer and client valued the mutual trust and discretion the work required.

Fast forward to 2015, several of Susan’s New York Times and USA Today bestselling clients had transitioned into screenwriting. She began consulting on screenplays and, over time, became an experienced script doctor and story consultant.
